Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.

The new Glide V3 is back with a full sandwich PVC Carbon construction. This design ensures an exceptional combination of strength, rigidity, extreme lightness, and responsiveness.
Its design, featuring a V-shaped tail and an optimized rocker line, promotes better water flow, reduces drag, improves tolerance to touchdowns, and guarantees remarkable stability, excellent balance, and easy, quick take-offs.
Ultra-versatile, this board excels in freeride, waves, and freestyle, regardless of conditions.
The Glide V3 is equipped with our in-house-developed prepreg molded carbon US box. This box, which is stiffer, longer, and features dual slots, represents a major technological breakthrough that could set a new standard in the foil industry.
The Glide V3 is available in four sizes, ranging from 4'9" (60L) to 5'4" (90L). In summary, it combines performance and accessibility with excellence.
Each board comes with a full deck pad and inserts for installing three footstraps.

New molded carbon US box
The Glide V3 features our molded carbon US boxes. Ultra-rigid and indestructible, they provide unmatched foil connection, perfect power transfer, and a unique feel.
Made from pre-preg carbon and molded under high pressure and high temperature, these boxes outperform traditional injection-molded plastic models. The result: no deformation, immediate responsiveness, and optimal performance for pumping, carving, and maneuvers.
Extended carbon boxes with double opening
The new carbon boxes on the Glide V3, now longer at 38 cm (11 cm longer than Futures boxes), offer unparalleled placement freedom. You can fine-tune your setup with precision, avoiding front or rear stops, for a position perfectly suited to your style.
Thanks to their dual rail openings, assembly is quick and easy: simply loosen the screws, slide the foil, and tighten. Spend less time setting up and more time on the water!
These rigid boxes maximize your sensations and control. They make the entire setup more responsive, giving the feel of using a smaller front wing. Become one with your foil and experience amplified performance!
Shape
The Glide V3 retains all the best features of the V2, while bringing significant improvements to the rocker and tail to enhance accessibility and glide. However, we have kept its slim and elongated shape, with a uniform distribution of volumes around the board's center of gravity.
Additionally, its deck is concave and slightly hollowed out to bring the rider closer to the foil, while lowering their center of gravity for better stability and control. On the hull side, we find the triple concave specially optimized for easy and efficient take-off.
V-Tail
The Glide V3 adopts a brand new V-shaped tail. This V-Tail is a significant improvement for the board's glide: it allows for better water flow and thus greatly reduces the board's drag. Also, with the V-Tail, you'll have a much more directional board in Archimedean mode: during pumping, the board will stay on its rail without any parasitic movements, allowing you to gain speed and take off more quickly.
This shape also helps accentuate the tail rocker without changing the foil angle. In short, with the V-Tail, you'll have much more glide and much less drag, providing greater freedom during pumping.
Rocker line
In line with this V-Tail, we have completely reworked the rocker line on this Glide V3. The board essentially features two rockers: the central line remains quite flat, with a slight scoop on the nose to quickly achieve planning, while the rockers on the outer edges of the board are much more pronounced.
These lateral rocker lines with more accentuated curves provide additional forgiveness to the board: it comes out of the water more easily without nosediving, it forgives more touches, and generates much less drag. Around the central line, the outer rockers act as two channels that promote water flow towards the tail, for more responsiveness during takeoff.
The sum of this shape gives the Glide V3 a very accessible and easy-to-use aspect, with even more glide.
Equipment
EVA Pad
3.5mm: That's the thickness of the EVA pad on our Glide V3. Multi-piece and grooved, it provides even more grip and comfort while navigating, while promising better water drainage on the deck
Footstrap inserts
For those who prefer riding with footstraps, multiple footstrap inserts are available on the Glide V3. Our Takoon neoprene straps, sold as an option, will provide excellent support and comfort while navigating. Comfortable and lightweight, they are available in single or V configurations.
Carry handle
To facilitate handling and carrying, the Glide V3 is equipped with an ergonomic handle located on the hull. It allows you to carry your board and foil with just one hand, leaving the other free to carry your wing
