All Takoon Kiteboarding products (Wings, Bars, Twin-tip and Surfboard boards, Tiki and all accessories) have a legal guarantee of conformity in force in the country of purchase and a commercial guarantee of 1 year.
This validity of the warranty is subject to the following conditions:
- Provide proof and date of purchase from Takoon or an official retailer.
- The warranty is personal to the purchaser, non-transferable and not valid on used equipment.
- The warranty does not apply to rental, training or teaching equipment.
- The warranty is only valid if the product has been used under normal conditions.
- The warranty is only valid if the Takoon warranty return procedure has been followed.
- Warranty support will be determined only after inspection and/or analysis of photos clearly showing the product defect.
- If the product is covered under warranty, only the repair or replacement of it is covered. Takoon disclaims any costs or economic loss related to warranty coverage.
- The warranty does not cover defects related to:
- improper use or improper assembly.
- improper or neglected use of the products (example: corrosion due to equipment not rinsed or poorly maintained, non-lubricated width, etc.)
- excessive or prolonged exposure to sun and wind.
- over-inflation or under-inflation of the wing.
- improper storage of the product (humid place or at high temperature) .
- a repair or modification made to the product unless this has been carried out by Takoon.
- shock or impact.
- a board or a wing caught in the waves or the shore-break.
- a telescoping with another kite (example, if the lines break or the leading edge explodes during the collision)
- a jump or a violent contact on a module (example: tearing of an insert due to poor reception of a kiteloop, board damaged on a kicker etc.).
- the use of bindings on Source, Source LW and Lux twin tips
The points covered on our products if they are found to be defective are:
-the seams.
- the markings and printings.
- the tubes and valves..
-structure and stratification.
-original accessories.
A problem ? Your package arrives in poor condition
Please carefully examine the condition of your package and your goods upon receipt in the presence of the delivery person. Refuse the package if it appears to have been damaged, otherwise we will not be able to replace your goods. Please note: in the event of a problem, you must keep the original packaging.
