Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.

Thanks to its midlength format, it strikes the perfect balance between downwind boards and compact shapes: not too long, not too short, just ideally balanced to maximize fun.
Another major asset: its internally developed molded prepreg carbon US box. Stiffer, longer, and equipped with dual entries, it represents a true technological breakthrough—set to become a new benchmark in the world of foiling.
The Glide Midlength is available in five sizes, from 5'8" (65L) to 6'6" (105L). Each board comes with a full deck pad and inserts for three footstraps.
For experienced riders, it’s recommended to choose a volume equivalent to your weight. For intermediate riders, go for a volume around 15 liters above your weight. And for beginners, opt for 20 to 25 liters more than your weight for extra stability and easier takeoff.

Molded carbon US boxes
The Glide Midlength boards are equipped with our molded carbon US boxes. Ultra-stiff and virtually indestructible, they offer unmatched foil connection, perfect power transfer, and a unique feel.
Made from prepreg carbon and molded under high pressure and temperature, these boxes outperform traditional injection-molded plastic models.
The result: zero deformation, instant responsiveness, and optimal performance for pumping, carving, and maneuvers.
Extended carbon boxes with dual openings
The new carbon boxes on the Glide Midlength are longer (38 cm—11 cm more than standard Futures boxes), offering unmatched freedom in foil placement. You can fine-tune your setup with precision, without hitting front or back limits, for a position perfectly tailored to your style.
Thanks to their dual rail openings, setup is fast and easy: simply loosen the screws, slide the foil, and tighten. Less time rigging, more time riding!
These stiff, extended boxes enhance feel and control, making your setup more responsive—almost like riding a smaller front wing. Become one with your foil and unlock next-level performance!

Tail
The straight, streamlined tail is designed to promote fast and smooth water flow, minimizing drag to the maximum and boosting acceleration.
Rocker line
A progressive and perfectly optimized rocker line. The flat rocker in the center ensures natural and efficient glide, ideal for reducing fatigue and making it easier to get onto the plane. Towards the front, the curve gradually becomes more pronounced, preventing the nose from diving into the water during transitions or landings. The result: a smoother, more forgiving ride that is always under control.
EVA Pad
3.5mm: that’s the thickness of the EVA pad on our Glide Midlength. Made of multiple pieces and grooved, it provides extra grip and comfort while riding, while also ensuring better water drainage on the deck.
Footstrap inserts
For those who prefer to ride with straps, multiple footstrap inserts are available on the Glide Midlength. Our Takoon neoprene straps, sold separately, provide excellent support and comfort while riding. Comfortable and lightweight, they are available in single or V-shaped configurations.
Carrying handle
To ease handling and carrying, the Glide Midlength is equipped with an ergonomic handle located on the hull. It allows you to carry your board and foil with one hand, leaving the other free to carry your wing.
