Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.
Presentation
Designed to push the limits of downwind SUP, the Escape also excels in wingfoil thanks to its smooth glide and ultra-easy takeoff. Its elongated shape maximizes lift and reduces drag, allowing you to take off earlier and fly farther.
Aerodynamic and stable in flight, it remains accessible both paddling and winging, even for heavier riders or in light winds. Available in three sizes (110L to 135L), it is suited for riders from beginner to expert seeking performance or new sensations in downwind foiling.
Escape vs. Escape Pro
The Escape and Escape Pro share a similar design, but each model is optimized for specific conditions.
Escape: Slightly wider and shorter, offering better acceleration and increased stability. This design makes it ideal for wind swell, short period waves, or choppy seas where quick acceleration and stability are essential. However, its top speed is somewhat limited, as its shape prioritizes comfort and responsiveness in more chaotic waves.
Escape Pro: Slightly longer and narrower, making it more agile and capable of reaching higher top speeds. Its design is especially suited for ground swell and long-period waves, where the board can unleash its full speed potential while remaining stable at high velocity. It offers a bit less stability than the Escape but compensates by maintaining consistent speed in longer, smoother waves.
In summary: The Escape excels in short, choppy waves where responsiveness and stability matter most, while the Escape Pro shines in longer, smoother waves, delivering optimal performance at high speeds.

Molded carbon US boxes
The Escape feature our molded carbon US boxes. Ultra-stiff and virtually indestructible, they offer unmatched foil connection, perfect power transfer, and a uniquely responsive feel.
Made from pre-preg carbon and molded under high pressure and high temperature, these boxes outperform standard injection-molded plastic models.
The result: no deformation, instant reactivity, and optimal performance for pumping, carving, and maneuvers.
Extended carbon boxes with dual opening
The new carbon boxes on the Escape Pro, extended to 38 cm (11 cm longer than standard Futures boxes), offer unmatched positioning freedom. You can fine-tune your setup with precision—without hitting the front or rear stops—for a stance perfectly tailored to your style.
Thanks to their dual-opening rail system, setup is quick and easy: simply loosen the screws, slide the foil in, and tighten. Less time rigging, more time on the water!
These rigid boxes enhance feel and control, making the entire setup more responsive—almost like you're riding a smaller front wing.
Shape
The Escape draws inspiration from SUP race board shapes to deliver smooth, fast glide—perfect for effortless take-off. Long, sleek, and with a streamlined outline, it's designed to maximize glide efficiency and accelerate quickly onto the foil.
The volume is carefully distributed around the center of gravity, enhancing stability when stationary. This balanced distribution also allowed us to refine the stance area for improved control and greater stability while riding.
The V-shaped hull plays a key role in the board’s performance: it promotes smooth glide, enables progressive and fast take-off, and efficiently channels water flow. It also provides a slight natural rebound effect that absorbs impacts—even at high speed—offering more comfort and forgiveness on landings.
Thanks to this hull design and the stretched shape, the Escape ensures optimal take-off in all water conditions
Tail
The Escape features a V-tail with pronounced rocker, designed to maximize freedom of movement in flight.
This shape allows the board to release more easily during pumping by minimizing contact points with the water.
The V-tail also enhances water flow during touchdowns or take-off phases, resulting in smoother, more direct glide.
Rocker line
The Escape features a pronounced yet balanced rocker line, enabling smooth and fluid glide.
This rocker provides excellent ability to catch and ride the swell, making transitions and directional changes easier while maintaining consistent speed.
It also allows the board to release easily during maneuvers—without compromising stability.
EVA pad
3.5 mm: This is the thickness of our pads on the Escape. They provide you with increased grip and comfort while riding and during transitions, while also ensuring better water drainage. The pad also protects the board from potential impacts and gives the Escape a stylish look.
