Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.

Delivered without handles for full customization, the Wing V3 Ultra allows you to tailor your setup to your preferences.
Handles, the Boom V2, and the leash are available as optional accessories. We've simplified the offering by providing two Boom sizes: the Boom V2 950 for wings from 2.5 m to 5 m and the Boom V2 1010 for sizes 5.5 m and 6 m.
Recommended Leash Sizes:
- 140 cm: for Wing V3 Ultra models from 2.5 m to 5 m
- 150 cm: for Wing V3 Ultra models from 5.5 m to 6 m

The Wing V3 Ultra comes without handles, allowing you the freedom to customize your setup. You can choose from soft handles, rigid carbon handles, or the Boom V2, available as options.
One of the great advantages? If you're already a customer of the brand, you can reuse your existing handles or wishbone, without having to buy a new set. Plus, you're not required to purchase a set for each wing, saving you money and preventing you from accumulating unnecessary handles at the bottom of a bag.
Our attachments are compatible with all these types of handles and allow for a quick swap in under two minutes. An M6 key, provided in the bag with your wing, makes these adjustments easy to perform.
Why multiple options? Because every rider has their preferences, depending on their style and the conditions. There’s no universally better system than another. At Takoon, for example, we prefer soft handles for waves, or a rigid handle at the front and a soft one at the back. But we mainly chose not to impose a single vision: everyone has their own feeling and choice.
The different options:
Soft textile handles: An excellent compromise between softness and rigidity. Perfect for waves and challenging conditions, they absorb gusts and reduce impacts with the board. Also ideal for riders prone to tendinitis.
Full carbon rigid handles: Offer ultra-precise control during maneuvers and jumps. They are lightweight, less bulky than the boom, and reduce the risk of impact with the board. Perfect for freestyle and freerace.
Rigid handle at the front + soft handle at the back: A setup highly appreciated in freeride and waves, combining precision and comfort. Definitely worth trying!
Full carbon Boom V2: Offers intuitive hand placement and increased rigidity of the central strut. Ideal for freestyle, racing, or those looking for a sensation close to windsurfing.

One Pump System
Our bladders are made of 80-micron thick TPU for greater durability. The bladders themselves and all accessories are thermo-welded to withstand high pressures.
The structure consists of two independent bladders: one for the leading edge and one for the strut. Connected via the One Pump system, you can inflate them simultaneously using the valve on the leading edge. The One Pump clip allows you to separate the airflow between the two bladders at the end of inflation. This gives you a double safety chamber during navigation and easy replacement if needed.
