Takoon is a French company specializing in the design and production of wing foil, surf and kitesurf boards. We inaugurated a board production plant in Portugal in September 2021 in Peniche, Portugal. We are relocating all production from China to Europe and we only work with the best European suppliers in the composite sector.
In the continuity of our project, we are looking for a composite materials engineer. The main objective of the position is to support the teams as a technical referent in a context of a strong increase in our production capacity.
About you:
- Passionate about boating and / or surfing.
- You are enthusiastic and motivated by the idea of ​​working in a team in a growing company.
- You fulfill yourself as a project manager.
- You have at least 2 years of experience as a composites engineer.
- You are an engineer graduate.
- You are comfortable, attentive, patient and knowledgeable in your discussions with all hierarchical levels, especially with production operators.
- Your level of professional English allows you to work independently, knowledge of Portuguese will be appreciated.
Tasks
- Write the production processes for our infusion technology all of our manufacturing processes and you ensure the proper application of these production standards.
- Production control and proposals for implementation or design solutions.
- Management of production flow and priorities.
- Role of technical referent to ensure the proper implementation of production processes.
- Set up tests to improve the process and construction of our boards (Bending tests, impact, resistance, durability).
- Accompany the development of the skills of the production team.
- Initiate and participate in R&D programs and projects.
- Ensure the follow-up of prototypes and the industrialization of new products.
- Conduct technology watch.
